Born in Bologna, where she lives and works, graphic studies at the Academy of Fine Arts of the city, she is visual artist, photographer and graphic designer.
Graduated at DAMS - UNIBO, plus two Higher Education Academic titles,
she is professional since 1979. Collaborator for some years of Fulvio Roiter, she devotes herself to reportage all over the world, also documenting projects for non-profit organizations present in various countries, to which will follow publications in excellent magazines and prestigious exhibitions in Italy and abroad.
In the following years she developed more and more careful and passionate research; both in the themes (anthropological, social, conceptual), and in the opportunities offered by the new photographic devices, including iPhone.
In 2013 she created 'RI-prendere, art and photography projects’©, in which - through art - are combined fragility and creativity to develop opportunities for social inclusion, such as for the Juvenile Prison P. Siciliani of Bologna (2013), or the Montecatone Rehabilitation Institute of Imola (2016), which is followed by the final edition of a valuable volume of art presented to ArteFiera 2018 (Bo). Her projects have become part of the University Museum Center of Bologna.
In 2017, with the photo exhibition ‘Km 0 Bologna / London’, she inaugurates the exhibitions of ARCOS-Museum of Contemporary Art Sannio (Benevento), while further projects result in as many personal exhibitions, such as ‘AUTOIMMOBILE | ReloadedOne ’(Bologna 2017) and ‘Journey’, on the occasion of Art City Night for Arte Fiera 2018 (Bologna). Up to the most recent exhibitions in Sannio (Bn) for the VinArte exhibitions, curated by Giuseppe Leone, and Imago Murgantia-Emergenze Artistiche, curated by Azzurra Immediato and Massimo Mattioli.
Photoreporter AIRF [Italian Reporters Photographer Association], she is founder member of Donne Fotografe-Italian Women Photographers’ Association (Bologna, 2018). She is present in the volume ‘Women photographers, from the birth of photography to today’, Ed. Pendragon (Bologna 2017).
During the last years she won a Honorable Mentions at the 14th J. M. Cameron Award (2019), one H.M. at the APA - Annual Photography Awards (2020), two H.M. at the 16th J. M. Cameron Award (2021), besides she awarded prize and exphosition at the RIAPERTURE PhotoFestival - Off, Ferrara (2021)
Recently she has been invited to the 6 Biennal of Photography, Fotonostrum Gallery, Barcellona (2021)
