In a society where everything is catalogued, the individual
is likely to lose its primitive essence. Codification exposes us to an
increasingly digital, anonymous, gender reality. To impress our uniqueness and
let it engage with the system are a chance to stay actually identifiable. The Lia_code is a very personal code language
consisting in lines, solids and voids, achieved through the subjective
interpretation of a well-known graphic binary code. The experience in the
planning of furniture and design components determined the artistic development
of Liala Polato; she approaches the art polimaterica with a careful research of
themes, compositions and materials and she reproposes the informalist concept
of exceeding from the two-dimensional surface.
She
exhibited her works in numerous Italian and foreign cites including , Baden-Baden,
Vienna, Paris, London, Miami New York and Washington; 2015- She has been
selected for the Call for artists Le
