Dominik Platzer, born in Austria in 1995, is a contemporary artist working with abstract geometric acrylic painting.

From an early age, he was drawn to creative expression and developed a strong visual interest in form, structure, and composition. After relocating to Graz, his artistic practice increasingly shifted from portraits and hyperrealistic drawings toward abstract painting, where his focus on reduction, color, and spatial balance began to take shape.

Influenced by contemporary abstract art, Platzer has developed a distinctive visual language defined by layered forms, clean edges, and bold color contrasts. His works aim to create both visual tension and a subtle calming effect, inviting a focused and immersive viewing experience while interacting with the surrounding architectural space.

Today, his practice centers on large-scale acrylic paintings that balance precision and intuition while exploring the relationship between color, form, and architectural space.
