Christine Pereira-Adams studied at Chelsea School of Art and worked as a textile designer in the fashion industry for 18 years. After the birth of her children she returned to study, completing a Graduate Certificate in Book Arts and Crafts at LCC and an MA in visual arts at Camberwell College of Art, UAL, London.
Her current practice reflects her experience of motherhood, working in the textile industry and her fine art studies. With a focus on art/science, sustainability and process, many of her works are not static but are readable and evolve.
Recent projects include: a commission from Bury Art Museum & Sculpture Centre UK, work exhibited as part of BABE 2021, Arnolfini, Bristol UK and becoming a member of the Art/NaturSci Movement Berlin with work held in their permanent collection.
