Esteban
Peña Parga

Esteban Peña Parga is a Colombian artist currently living and working in the United Kingdom. He graduated from the Universidad de los Andes with a degree in Fine Arts in 2003. He was a Colfuturo scholarship recipient. In 2013 and graduated with distinction from his Master of Fine Arts (MA Fine Art) at Central Saint Martins College in London, England. Peña's artistic practice humorously highlights various cultural, social, and national habits, seemingly insignificant in which we engage daily, but which, taken together, speak volumes about society and culture. Peña's work combines diverse concerns related to the means of image production and reproduction, the exploration of the pictorial processes of color, and basic elements such as the dot and the line.
