Lena Oczkowska was born in 2006 in Warsaw, where she lives and works. She splits her time between the capital and the quiet village of Żółwin.
She has drawn and painted for as long as she can remember, but began her conscious artistic practice at the age of fourteen. That same year, she started sharing her work under pseudonim 066_numbers. Entirely self‑taught, she has forged her path outside formal education.
Oczkowska paints chiefly with oils on canvas and draws with ink and markers. A distinctive element of her work is a personal alphabet—an invented system of signs that sometimes slips into her images, serving as a secret record of emotions, a notebook readable only to her.
At fifteen she won first prize in the Graphics category of the 2021 Art Award for young creators and exhibited in the post‑competition show at the Master Gallery in Saint Petersburg. In 2023 she presented sixty works—oil paintings and ink‑and‑water‑colour drawings—at her first solo exhibition organised by the Pałacyk Kasyno Cultural Centre in Podkowa Leśna. A year later she took part in the group exhibition Kolonia Podkowa in Kazimierz Dolny. Her works have appeared in the art zines Stoner Polski, Gazeta musi się ukazać, Entheoscope and in a zine curated by David Tibet.
