Úbeda (Jaén) 1974, resident between Madrid and Úbeda.
Painter and interior designer, co-owner of more&more design, member of the Spanish Luxury Association.
PhD in Fine Arts from the University Alonso Cano of Granada.
Master in Design for Society, Pablo de Olavide University, Seville.
National Crafts Award, together with artisans of Úbeda, 2013 and 2019.
Within my artistic production I have three aspects, one is mural painting that began when I studied Trompe L'oeil in Florence.
My second passion is painting on gold leaf where I represent scenes of nature, idealized and joyful, inspired by ancient oriental art.
Finally, abstract painting, I paint horizons that blur with solvent or water stains, which drag the paint, capriciously, as time does with our memories.
The scenes that I represent in my gold leaf paintings are compositions where herons, fish, dragonflies, water lilies... all associated with calm water, full of life and iconicity.
Inspired by asiatic art ; aesthetic veneration of idealized representations of nature, captured through the brush. An expression of the intimate relationship between nature and the human gaze, a representation of the passage of time through the different seasons that inexorably recall the melancholic beauty of an ephemeral world.
