This work represents the beauty of the everyday. It is a tribute to the wild plants of the fields of Andalusia, specifically of Sierra Magina, Jaen. The Sierra that I contemplate from my hometown, Úbeda. Here grows spontaneously alfalfa, garlic or thistle, plants whose flowers often go unnoticed, like the bee orchid, ophrys apifera.
In the picture I have highlighted the bee orchid with ultraviolet. Its labellum mimics the abdomen of a female bee in order to attract male bees to pollinate the flower. It is an example of nature's evolution for survival.
These are the nourishing plants of the butterflies represented, Plebejus argus, a very common butterfly (plebejus) with the reverse side full of dots (argus: monster with 100 eyes) and Cupid Osiris, a very rare and difficult to find butterfly. Both coexist in the same ecosystem, increasingly deteriorated by the effect of pesticides
