Nausicaa

I am Nausicaa Monni, a landscape architect. I am 32 years old and I am from Sardinia (Italy). I am very interested in urban and landscape design, furniture design, photography and everything about sustainability. For this reason I studied architecture and landscape architecture in Trieste and Rome (Italy) respectively and now I am studying forest and environmental sciences in Nuoro (Italy). I have been working as a technical designer for 4 years: this allows me to combine my passions in designing what is around me.
As a hobby I am an archaeological and environmental tourist guide. I love knowing and making my territory and its traditions known. I continuously learn thanks to the many journeys I love to make and the great commitment I put into studying and keeping up to date. I am very lucky because I can learn about design and sustainability from my father who is a designer and carpenter. In a world so technological and mechanized, I think it would be good to design and build like a craftsman. He produces art with respect for nature, environment and local traditions. This is what I mean to do with my works.
