I born in a country near Milan, Italy, since I was a child practise picture, drowing and photography in some different local restoration studio. Since 2009 I work as artist and reporter in project of resarch that try to generate community development and better relationship through Art. Usually my work start with a pubblic or private commissions. As tools of expression I mainly use photography, video and installation. At sixteen I went to Milan to start building my identity. On 1992_1997 I studied at Scientific High School, from 1998 to 2003 I studied to Brera Academy of Fine Arts, painting department. Between 2000_2002 I went in Dublin, IR, to conclude my thesis, at the Art Galleries Studio, working at the civic printing house of the city. From 2004 to 2008 I worked at the Giorgio Upiglio printing house, Milan. (ref.https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Giorgio_Upiglio ). From 2009 to 2014 I started a public project research about public Art with DASTU, Politecnico di Milano, ( ref. Architect Isabella Inti https://www.dastu.polimi.it ). From 2009 I started as reporter for different Istitution and ONG. The works I propose you are a little selection about some of those experiences. The first one is Nafta, 2016_2020 a Photo and Video project about clandestine immigration and agromafia between ITALY and the North Africa. ( In collaboration with ASF, Architetti Senza Frontiere, ITALIA_ https://www.asfitalia.org/home STUDIO ELF, Milano_ www.videoelf.it ). The second one is The Weary Goat, 2017_2020 a Photo and Video project about clandestine Roma community in Milan. The third one “ The Saint”, 2019_2022 is a floating installation designed during these last three years of Pandemic. Ispire in a project with a company that works in the delicate field of mental health, based in the province of Brescia, Italy. The project was developed in collaboration with, Casa Testori, ref. Giuseppe Frangi, (https://www.casatestori.it) and Ivan Bargna, President of the Department of Anthropological and Ethnological Sciences at the University of Milan Bicocca. I'm trying to build a poetics in which Art and Imagination can come into direct contact with our daily life and with the social devices that inevitably condition and define us. I hope that my work could generate reflections that are often distant from our everyday life.
