Carlo Martini (Thiene, Italy, 1965) is a self-taught visual artist whose practice combines painting and digital graphic art. After a long professional experience in graphic design, he developed a personal artistic language focused on the memory of spaces, the emotional presence of places, and the revealing power of light.
His work first gained recognition through paintings dedicated to industrial archaeology, abandoned interiors, and suspended architectures. Over time, his research has expanded to include domestic and interior spaces, where absence, traces of human presence, and atmosphere become central elements of visual narration.
Over the years, he has taken part in solo and group exhibitions and has received recognition in several Italian art prizes, including Premio Marchionni, Premio Mestre, and Premio EneganArt. Through painting and digital art, he investigates space as a place of memory, contemplation, and transformation.
