Working from remembered impressions rather than direct representation, she creates atmospheric compositions that investigate how perception is transformed into memory and visual form.
Her recent work focuses on The Memory of Light, an ongoing artistic research project exploring light as a carrier of emotional memory and the relationship between perception, recollection, and landscape. Influenced by the legacy of Impressionism and developed through self-directed study, international artist residencies, and professional exhibitions, her practice combines intuitive painting with observation and visual inquiry.
Orviska has exhibited internationally in Slovakia, Austria, the Czech Republic, the United Kingdom, France, and Lebanon. She has participated in artist residencies including Château d'Orquevaux, NG Art Creative Residency in Provence, and Atelier Air at Château de Cérisay in France. She lives and works in Bratislava, Slovakia.
