Markus
Martinovitch is Russian-German multi-media artist with autism. Living away from
academic rules, he creates his own code of communication with the world and
reality.
To
date he has participated in more than 10 group exhibitions and held 7 personal
exhibitions in Germany, Russia and the UK.
In 2018 he became the youngest participant of the 6th Moscow
International Biennale for Young Art. In 2019 his works participated in Sotheby’s
auction for the first time.
The
main topics of his works are systems, cultural and linguistic codes, security
and self-reflection.
He
works with various media: painting, digital art and conceptual audio,
performances and installations, carpets.
Alya Hestanti is an
artist and a curator from Moscow. She is the Sergey Kuryokhin Art Prize nominee
for “the best curatorial project”. Alya has participated in numerous Russian
and international exhibitions (Manifesta 10, IV and V Moscow International
Biennale for Young Art, VII Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art and many
others). Her works can be found in many private and museum collections.
Her preferred media are total
installations, object, performances. As for the researched topics Alya is interested
in gender, age, corporality and social inclusion.
