Hunter

Born in South Africa Fi Hunter moved to the UK at a young age. After studying graphic design she went on to have a long and successful career as an art director in advertising living and working in Cape Town, Amsterdam and London. Sculpture, which began as a hobby, has now become her full time passion which recently helped her through a cancer battle. 

Working from her studio an old corner shop in the English countryside she creates larger than life heads. Varying in materias from rich rusted iron, hi gloss gold bronze to tactile 3-D printed wood pulp, they invite the viewer to relook with fresh eyes the uniqueness of the human head. In 2021 she began to sell her work through local art trails, galleries and sculpture parks. More recently her sculptures have been exhibited at the London Art Fair, Affordable and Fresh fairs.
