Sheida Heravi is an Iranian visual artist based in Kerman. She holds a BA in Painting from Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman, where her research focused on symbols of good and evil in Persian illustrated manuscripts. Her practice connects Persian miniature painting with contemporary ecological concerns, using the rhinoceros as a symbol of vulnerability, endurance, and extinction. Working across intimate ink-and-gold pieces on cardboard and larger acrylic paintings on canvas, she explores how ancient visual languages can respond to present-day crises.
