Scotia was born with Global Delay and Audio and Visual Processing Disorder. After years of intense therapy, she came to accept that words would always be a struggle and would not be a primary part of her communication. However, her fierce determination to find her own way in the world led her to express herself through art.

With a vibrant sense of color and an intrinsic ability to compose and structure visual work, art has become her ultimate voice. Today, Scotia has fans all over the world. Her artwork is featured in numerous private collections both across Australia and internationally, including the personal collection of the CEO of the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award.
