Xiaochen Guo is a Chinese visual artist based in Florence, Italy. She graduated in Decoration from the Academy of Fine Arts of Naples and later completed a Second-Level Academic Diploma in Visual Arts and New Expressive Languages at the Academy of Fine Arts of Florence. Her practice spans installation, video, spatial models and site-responsive projects. She investigates how sound, light, material, movement and emotional atmosphere shape the perception of public and shared spaces. Combining artistic research with spatial experimentation, she develops both realised installations and project-based interventions for urban contexts. Her work often explores the relationship between individual perception, collective experience and the transformation of space. Her personal and collaborative projects have been presented in Italy and China, including exhibitions in Prato, Naples and Beijing.
