As a mother of two, I began my university education after raising my children and fulfilling my family responsibilities. Driven by my dedication to artistic growth and lifelong learning, I completed my undergraduate degree in Traditional Turkish Arts and continued my academic journey by earning a master’s degree in the same field, further deepening my artistic and scholarly practice.
My journey with ceramic tile art began with a deep curiosity that gradually evolved into a field of artistic production to which I am passionately devoted. Although I continued my education through open learning from secondary school onward, I never lost my desire to learn or my dedication to art.
In 2022, I completed my undergraduate studies in ceramic tile art at the Department of Traditional Turkish Arts at Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakıf University. In 2025, I earned my master’s degree at the same university with my thesis titled “Hatai Motifs in the Tiles of the Rüstem Pasha Mosque.”
I continue to produce within traditional arts both academically and through artistic practice. Together with a colleague, I co-founded the Hanedensanat platform, where we organize exhibitions and support artists and artistic production. I also teach ceramic tile art in various workshops, contributing to the transmission of this tradition to new generations.
My works have been exhibited in numerous exhibitions across Istanbul, as well as in Edirne, reflecting my ongoing engagement with diverse artistic spaces and audiences.
