Genesio Pistidda, classe 1974, nasce in Sardegna nella città di Sassari. Laureato in Scultura all’Accademia di Belle Arti Mario Sironi di Sassari nel 2001, iscritto attualmente All’Università di Architettura a Venezia, IUAV, in Disegno Industriale. Il suo percorso lavorativo-creativo è indirizzato principalmente sulla ricerca di una estetica-filosofica della materia, arrivando alla funzionalità del prodotto. Nel corso degli anni, ha sperimen-tato nuovi strumenti d’indagine, attraverso la realizzazione di fotografie, sculture e oggetti di design o allestimenti teatrali, fino alla consulenza tecnica-artistica e direttiva d’immagine per la riqualificazione di prodotti già esistenti nel commercio. Collabora con: Enel campagna pubblicitaria Industria e Ambiente 1996; Esercito Italiano, realizzazione di tre stemmi araldici della Brigata Sassari,1996-97; Ersu decorazione mura-
les Mensa Universitaria,1998; Fondazione Sardegna 2002-16, 2004-05; collabora come scenografo e performer per l’attrice Nerina Nieddu, 2003-11 2016; Provincia di Sassari, dirige il Museo d’Arte Contemporanea Masedu, per la mostra Industriale Arte in Fabbrica 2004/05; dirige il Museo d’Arte Contempora-nea EXMA’, per la mostra Industriale Arte in Fabbrica, collabora con L’Associazione Camù, 2005; Ente Concerti Maria Lisa De Carolis, realizza il logo dell’Ente costruendo tutta la campagna pubblicitaria 2004/05; Confcommercio, Confidi, Sassari, realizza la campagna pubblicitaria, per i corsi di formazione 2014, l’Associazione Amerindia, lavora come scenografo per la realizzazione del Cinema all’aperto Figiurà, 2011-15; Esercito Italiano, realizzazione del restauro dello stemma araldici della Brigata Sassari, 2016-17; lavora con il designer Tarshito per alcune mostre in India, 2001-02; collabora con il designer Giulio Iacchetti 2017-19, Tintess realizzazione collezione P.E. 20/21 per il cliente Olimpiass-Benetton. Collabora con: Comuni, Provincie ed Enti privati nel settore Culturale, di: Sassari, Cagliari, Olbia, Arzachena, Oristano, Esercito Italiano, Facoltà di Medicina e Chirurgia di Sassari.

Genesio Pistidda was born in 1974 in the city of Sassari, Sardinia, Italy. He obtains a Master Degree in Sculpture at the Mario Sironi “Accademia delle Belle Arti” institute of Sassari University in 2001. He is currently enrolled at the University of Architecture in Venice, IUAV, in Industrial Design study programs. His work-creative path is mainly addressed to the investigation on an aesthetic-philosophical of matter, aiming to reach the product functionality. Over the years, he has experienced new tools of academic research, through the creation of photographs, sculptures, design objects and theatrical installations, up to technical-artistic advice and image directives for a new qualification of existing products in the market. He collaborated with the following institutions and organizations: Enel advertising campaign about Industry and Environment 1996; Italian Army, realization of three coats of arms heraldry of the “Sassari” Brigade, 1996-97; Ersu wall decoration (Wall graffiti and paintings) at the University canteen, 1998; He took part to the “Sardinia Foundation” (Fondazione Sardegna) society in the years 2002-2004-2005 and 2016; He collaborates as a set designer and performer for the actress Nerina Nieddu, 2003-2011 and 2016; He directs the Contemporary Art Province Museum “Masedu” between 2004 and 2005, for the industrial exhibition “Art in the factory”(Arte in Fabbrica);
He directs the Museum of Contemporary Art-nea EXMA', for the exhibition “Industrial Art in the factor” (Industriale Arte in Fabbrica), and he collaborates with the “Camù” association (L'Associazione Camù) 2005;
For the Ente Concerti Maria Lisa De-carolis, he realizes the logo of the Institution building for the whole advertising campaign 2004-2005; With the Confcommercio, Confidi, Sassari, He organizes the advertising campaign for the 2014 training courses, the Amerindian Association and he works as a set designer for the creation of the Open-air cinema “Figiurà” (which means “to watch”), 2011-2015; For the Italian Army he performs the restoration of the heraldic coat of arms of the “Sassari” Brigade, 2016-2017; He works with the Italian artist and designer “Tarshito” for some exhibitions in India, 2001-2002; He collaborates with the designer Giulio Iacchetti 2017-2019, Tintess realization collection P.E. 2020/2021 for the customer Olimpiass-Benetton; He collaborates with Municipalities, Provinces and private institutions within the Cultural field in the cities of Sassari, Cagliari,Olbia, Arzachena and Oristano; He also had some cooperation with the Faculties of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Sassari town.
