Alessia Fusco is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice merges visual art and performance in a poetic investigation of gesture, perception, and space. As an abstract painter and performer, she explores the relationship between movement, space, and inner states through automatic drawing, collage, and mixed media. Influenced by Paul Klee, Kandinsky, and Abstract Expressionism, she approaches art as an intuitive, physical process inspired by nature’s invisible energies. With a Master's degree in Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage and advanced training in painting and choreographic composition, Alessia has developed a distinctive artistic language where color, matter, and movement interact to create immersive, sensorial experiences. She sees the body as a living mark and movement as a form of thought—transforming ephemeral gestures into lasting visual impressions. Her work reflects on the fluid boundaries between emotion and form, presence and absence, time and memory. Alessia has lived and worked in France and the Netherlands, integrating diverse cultural influences into her practice. Her solo exhibitions—including Choreo-Graphie (Paris), Dialogues (Rome), Chromatic Imprints (Rome), and Sail (Viterbo)—often include live performances that invite audiences into an active, embodied encounter with the work. She has collaborated with choreographers, musicians, and visual artists in interdisciplinary projects and has participated in residencies and festivals in Italy, France, and Corsica.
