Born in Geneva, Switzerland, Pascale Ettlin has been living and working as an independent visual artist in Switzerland since 2017.
After completing her academic studies, she devoted herself fully to her passion for the visual arts. From 2005 to 2011, she collaborated closely with the artist Heinz Gadiant (Lucerne), and later pursued formal studies in Art & Design at the Art School of Lucerne from 2011 to 2017. In 2024, she was awarded the prestigious Prix Talents Contemporains by the Fondation François Schneider in France.
Her artistic practice is deeply inspired by the beauty and strangeness of both nature and humanity. Through her work, she explores the theme of human responsibility within a world delicately poised between resilience and collapse.
Her creations invite viewers into poetic and ambiguous worlds, where hidden subjects emerge through subtle, layered imagery. Her work has been exhibited in Switzerland, France, and Japan.
