Read MoreSince forever, painting and drawing have been my greatest passions. However, I decided to pursue a degree in Mathematics for Teaching, another area that deeply impassions me.
After dedicating 11 years to teaching adolescents, I decided to leave it behind for family reasons and depart from my homeland, Portugal. Currently, I reside in Madrid with my family, husband, and four children (two sets of twins), after having lived in several European cities. It was in Madrid where I found the opportunity to reignite my passion for art by enrolling in courses at the Miguel Delibes Popular University in Alcobendas - Madrid. Seven years have passed since then, and this experience has been incredible, not only learning new techniques but also discovering myself.
Recently, I have embarked on the challenge of producing my own works. I love working with oil paint, and in my creations, I enjoy blending the abstract with realism in perfect harmony, using various painting techniques to merge drawing (more realistic) with abstract painting. Every detail in my paintings holds profound meaning, just like the chosen colors. My goal is to convey life and light to those who view my works. Although it may seem surprising, mathematics remains a fundamental tool in my artistic creation
