Born in Naples in 1980, I now live and work in Grosseto.
I am constantly seeking conceptual synthesis between expressive languages, and philosophical hermeticism is the guiding principle of my work.
Active as an artist since 2000, I have exhibited at various contemporary art events, including the 54th Venice Biennale 2011 – Campania Pavilion, curated by Vittorio Sgarbi; Philippe Daverio's 13 X 17 project, a parallel exhibition at the 52nd Venice Biennale in 2007; and the 12th Biennale of Young Artists from Europe and the Mediterranean 2005, curated by Achille Bonito Oliva.
My works are featured in various public and private collections.
I am an art teacher, a tattoo artist, and a visual artist, but I prefer to put it simply, describing myself as a curious and tireless researcher of Traditional and Contemporary Artistic Techniques and Technologies.
In 2006, I completed my institutional training with honors, completing the two-year Specialization Program in Visual Arts and Performing Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples. In 2004, I completed a thesis entitled "The Skull in Neapolitan Iconography," based on an investigation of the socio-historical-cultural relationship with death and its representation in local iconography. In 2005, after a one-year Specialization in Tourism Management Integrated with Cultural Heritage, I focused my studies on the spiritual communicative perceptibility of works of art. In 2007, I attended the "Scuola di Alta Formazione di Arte e Teologia" (Higher Education School of Art and Theology) at the Pontifical Theological Faculty of Southern Italy, and in the same year, I participated in the Summer School of Advanced Training on the Symbolic Hermeneutics of Works of Art at the Monumental Complex of San Lorenzo Maggiore in Naples.
Also in 2007, in search of obsolete artisanal skills, I won a scholarship and was able to enjoy a full immersion experience in the world of cultural heritage restoration and diagnostics.
In 2014 and 2015, having been selected, I participated in the Residencies/Workshops for Artists and Curators on Site-Specific Artistic Practices of the "Sense of Community" series curated by Silvia Petronici, in editions #9, #11, and #13.
Since 2018, my research has resumed, first investigating the secrets of Sacred Geometry and the Orthodox Sacred Icon, and then a return to creation with plants as a reference to the Garden of Eden.
