Riccardo Culeddu was born in Treviso on
7/6/1973. He draws since he was a child and soon develops, together
with his passion for the figurative arts, that for music, eventually
graduating from the conservatory in guitar and specializing in Music
and New Technologies. During his musical studies he continues to
draw, paint and explore techniques such as engraving, which he has
been studying since 2005 at the "Il Bisonte - International
school for graphic art" in Florence. Currently he is involved in music, paints and creates multimedia works. His most recent acrylic works
remain anchored to graphic and focus on various thematic strands: portraits of imaginary characters,
distortions of classical iconography, organic metamorphosis of
plants, rocks and flowers. Each image is conceived as a dive into the
unconscious, an open field of interpretative possibilities in which
there is no separation between the real and the fantastic.
