After three years at the University of Rennes 2 in Brittany (France) and with a degree in Plastics Art, I started a master in Plastics Art. I decided to stop these studies to invest myself completely in art as a young artist. Recently listed as an artist-author, I have participated in several small-scale exhibitions and I wanted to seriously engage my professional artistic practice.
Artistic approach
My practice is part of a recent trend in graffiti, that can be named Trashgraff or Antistyle. I use a gesture matrix that serves as a base for any graphic development, the material used therefore acts as a constraint and the final rendering largely depends on it. My pictorial work consists of shaking up lettering and figurative illustration and arriving at a letting go that gives way to random movements and induces games of covering, erasing, layers and pareidolia. The variations of shapes and colors thus created are impregnated with the different codes of conventional graffiti that I divert to create a dichotomy between the human brain (keen to reproduce things it knows) and the gesture (in perpetual search for random drawing) .
