Stefano Ciaramella nasce a Frosinone il 24/11/1967 e percorre i primi decenni della sua vita adulta tra l’impegno professionale nel campo della ristorazione e la passione per i viaggi che lo porta alla ricerca di un contatto più diretto con il mondo naturale, in tutte le sue più diverse ed affascinanti manifestazioni. Giunto all’età di trenta anni, sceglie di lasciarsi alle spalle un percorso già tracciato e lasciare che la passione per gli alberi, sino ad allora ammirati come elemento naturale, lo guidi verso una nuova vita professionale ed artistica. Coltivato con entusiasmo e dedizione, il seme della passione per il legno come materia prima da plasmare, trova terreno fertile nelle sue doti di artigiano realizzando sogno di una nuova vita professionale ed artistica.
Sarà proprio dal profondo legame con il mondo naturale e con gli alberi, percepiti come componente vitale di esso, che nascerà l’idea di una produzione artistica che intende far rinascere quel legno scartato e reso inutile dal tempo e dall’usura. Creatività, tecnica, passione e cura di ogni dettaglio sono gli strumenti sapientemente dosati da un artista che riporta il legno ad una nuova, duratura, vitalità.
Che rinasca come oggetto d’uso quotidiano o opera d’arte, il legno scartato torna ad avere una funzione che restituisce all’albero da cui proviene un ruolo sempre nuovo e diverso.

Stefano Ciaramella was born in Frosinone on 24/11/1967 and spent the first decades of his adult life between his professional commitment in the restaurant business and his passion for travel, which led him to seek more direct contact with the natural world, in all its most diverse and fascinating manifestations. When he reached the age of thirty, he chose to leave behind a path already traced and let his passion for trees, until then admired as a natural element, guide him towards a new professional and artistic life. Cultivated with enthusiasm and dedication, the seed of passion for wood as a raw material to be shaped, found fertile ground in his skills as a craftsman, realizing the dream of a new professional and artistic life. It was precisely from the deep bond with the natural world and with trees, perceived as a vital component of it, that the idea of an artistic production was born, which intends to reborn that wood discarded and rendered useless by time and wear. Creativity, technique, passion and attention to every detail are the tools expertly dosed by an artist who brings wood back to a new, lasting vitality. Whether it is reborn as an object of daily use or a work of art, discarded wood returns to have a function that gives the tree from which it comes an ever new and different role.
