"Hello, my name is Veronica, I'm 25 years old and hold a degree in Design and Planning. I'm currently pursuing a master's degree in Planet Life Design. I'm passionate about designing green spaces and their integration with interior environments, aiming to create solutions that endure over time. I'm particularly interested in current events, climate change, and their impact on social relationships and our historical heritage.
Since childhood, I've had a deep passion for art, and Damien Hirst has been one of the most influential artists for me, thanks to his ability to challenge conventions and open people's minds. My goal is to reconnect communities, both contemporary and historical, through conceptual art that addresses current issues, such as marine pollution, from a psychological perspective.
My focus on marine pollution is also deeply personal: the sea has always been a refuge for me, a place where I could reconnect with reality. My family has often battled cancer, and each time we overcame an illness, we celebrated by going to the sea. However, pollution is slowly erasing those precious memories, deteriorating a place that should remain unchanged. This drives me to protect and preserve the sea, so it can continue to be a symbol of hope and renewal.
I sincerely hope to convey the principles and values that my parents instilled in me through their stories and experiences."
