My name is Mina Bazari. I was born in 1983 in Iran and raised there. I migrated to Sweden in 2014 and I live and work here ever since.
I have studied bachelor of Fine Arts in painting and drawing at Azad university of Tehran. I started my professional practice as an artist after I graduated in 2006.
I participated in several group exhibitions and had a solo exhibition in Tehran. After I moved to Sweden, I was determined to peruse my professional practice. So while I was studying Swedish, I regularly worked at my studio and had sevral solo exhibition in Sweden and Iran and some group exhibition in Sweden, Brussels, Italy and Dubai .
last year i was one the finalist on arte Laguna.
I saw how arte Laguna was supportive for all of artist with different voices.
I wanted to apply for arte Laguna prize with my painting this year too but the new conditions in Iran changed my mind and I apply with three installation

As an Iranian artist living abroad, I am inspiring of current situation and news in Iran, and I wish that I can be the voice of the Them outside the borders of my country by art media.
