Graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts E. Geppert in Wroclaw, Poland. Master diploma in Glass Design (2007). I studied also applied arts at the AFAD in Bratislava (2006) and at Technic University in Liberec (2004). I worked as a designer in the process of implementing industrial designs and a co-founder of the Wzorowo Group (2009-2014), were we carried out projects in area of art, design and education, focused on glass and ceramics matter. I was running research and co-create the educational program of the Glass Design Studio at the Faculty of Ceramics and Glass at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw (2011-2022). I am a scholarship holder of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education for a young outstanding scientist and Laureate of the Mazda Design Award 2019. I create my personal brand (2007-now). I carry out experimental projects in association with craftsmen and glass centers in Poland and worldwide.
I was born and brought up in the Sudety Mountains (1982), in a region with rich glass traditions. I was brought up in a house where craft was a very important. I grew up in the belief that the work of the hands is of great value, that the commitment and heart put in the creation of the object gives others joy of using. This belief serves me today. I tell meaning-full stories using glass matter. My intention as a designer is to enrich everyday experiences, and initiate a new dynamic between us and objects. I stimulate the senses and minds, serving in the dishes an emptiness for reflection. I bet on timelessness in objects, I want them to help us stay in a soothing state of contemplation, and serve us in the constant cycle of life and death.
