ONYX et IVORY

Onyx et Ivory is a non-commercial signature art studio founded by Czech artist Marie Bajnarová. The studio's name and philosophy are based on the symbolism of two contrasting materials: Onyx represents depth, focus, and inner strength, while Ivory brings light, delicacy, and respect for the traditional artistic process. This duality is central to the studio’s independent creative output, which focuses on linocut and ink drawing. Onyx et Ivory integrates visual arts with an exploration of creation, the symbolism of forms, and hidden meanings. The resulting artefacts open a space for dialogue, inviting personal interpretation and reflection.
