Barbara Babić is
an emerging designer with a background in architecture and new technologies for
the arts. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Università Iuav di Venezia, a master’s
from Politecnico di Milano, and another master’s from Accademia di Belle Arti
di Venezia. She also
completed exchange programs at Cardiff Metropolitan University and Universidad
Torcuato Di Tella.
Her award-winning
projects merge design, social innovation, and sustainability. Djuro's Story,
an e-waste project, was shortlisted for the Dezeen x Samsung Re:Create Design
Challenge and recognized at Zagreb Design Week and the Croatian Design
Exhibitions 23/24. Touch, Learn, Create: The Art of Piet Mondrian, a
3D-printed book for visually impaired children, received similar acclaim.
She pushes boundaries
to create meaningful, inclusive experiences.
