Uscha Ayubi has been painting since her early childhood. It has always been her deep inner need to express herself pictorially. Thus the development of her art can be understood as a kind of painted autobiography. For Uscha Ayubi, the content of her work is the creative confrontation with the great themes of life, the processing of what has been experienced and lived and the search for transcendence and spirituality on the way to oneself. The living space becomes the picture space and the picture space becomes the living space. This symbiosis creates a place of absolute freedom in which everything is possible.
Important stations in her artistic development are the experiences Uscha Ayubi has gained in her work with children and the deep experience of the births of her two sons. The artist has preserved and consistently developed the archaic, reduced-form and symbolic creativity found in children. In her paintings she gives subconscious expression and goes in search of the essence of things. From calm and flat to powerfully moved - Uscha Ayubi paints abstract mood pictures of very different dynamics. From deep blue tones - for the artist the expression of boundlessness - and chalky tender transitions to vividly pulsating yellow - the power of the colours and the expressive formal language in Uscha Ayubi's art stimulates the imagination and challenges one to find one's own inner images and discover new spaces when contemplating the works.
Freedom here lies not only in the artist's expression but also in the eye of the beholder, and so Uscha Ayubi often deliberately does without picture titles. Autonomy and independence are decisive for the development of the painter, who has worked autodidactically from the beginning. Her studies at the independent art school in Nürtingen strengthened her in this attitude. Uscha Ayubi saw the firm structures as a strong limitation of her impulsive and enthusiastic creativity, so that she soon decided to continue on her independent path. The versatility of the pictorial themes and the intuitive, rarely conceptual way of working find their counterpart in the artist's technique. The development here ranges from watercolours to pastel and oil crayons to acrylic and oil paints. Over the years, Uscha Ayubi's brush painting style, which was often more disciplined at the beginning, became more expressive and freer. She draws from the full. The often almost lavishly generous, pasty application of paint lends the pictures depth and three-dimensionality. Mixing takes place on the canvas, painting takes place in the horizontal and from all sides. The increasingly larger formats are circumvented, walked on, the exterior merges with the pictorial space, borders dissolve and emerge. In addition to the preferred spatula, the tools used are often things that the immediate surroundings provide, such as wood, children's bricks and other found objects. Often special structures are created by the addition of sand, the use of polystyrene, papier-mâché and other materials stands for the artist's joy in experimenting.
Uscha Ayubi does not want to provoke with her pictures. Her intention is rather to subjectively visualize all facets of life using various means of expression in order to lend an external expression to the often deeply hidden inner beauty.

Since 2011 paintings and sculptures were created and the project 'Landing of extraterrestrials and Metamorphosis' was born, with which I now compete with painting, installation and performance.
