Roberto Arámbula is a visual artist whose practice spans oil painting, installation, and performative action. His work moves beyond representation toward forms of intervention that engage the conditions in which reality is constructed and lived.
Rather than describing, the works operate through displacement. What comes into view is not simply an image, but the forces, structures, and tensions that shape its emergence.
Based in Hamburg, Arámbula has developed a body of work addressing displacement, systems of control, value, and structural violence. Within this process, La Bestia functions as a central axis, not as a character, but as a recurring condition that moves across different bodies of work.
In projects such as The Dollar of Ignorance (G20, Hamburg, 2017), the work leaves the space of representation and enters circulation. It does not illustrate critique; it activates it. What emerges is not a position, but a response.
In recent works, the focus shifts. Without abandoning external structures, attention turns increasingly toward the ways in which experience is formed, destabilized, and transformed.
The practice does not propose resolution. It opens a field.
