Maremi Andreozzi is painter exploring themes of feminism, women’s history and social justice. Maremi earned a BFA from Cornell University and a MFA from Clemson University. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally. She is represented by Adah Rose’s Gallery in Maryland, USA. Her work is in the collection of many private collectors and museums. Maremi has been a resident at La Macina di San Cresci in Greve in Italy, The Mesa in Utah, and The Cornucopia Art Center in Minnesota. Her residency at The Mesa was in partnership with the Smithsonian traveling exhibition, “Key Ingredients: America by Food”.
She has been awarded numerous awards and recognitions. In 2021, her painting, “The Suffragists” was exhibited in The Phillip’s Collection in Washington, DC exhibition, “Inside Outside, Upside Down”. Several of her “History Adorned” portraits are on loan in Vienna, Austria through the Arts in Embassies Program. She currently has a solo show, “A Life Well Lived”, on exhibiton at Adah Rose Gallery in Maryland. Maremi lives and work in Fairfax, Virginia.
