Alessio Trevisani, Choreographer and Performer -artistic Director of the new founded Freies Tanz Ensemble Berlin – Leipzig known for his rich, poetic choreographies has been choreographer and director of the Company of Leipziger Tanztheater for the last 8 years. Former member and dancer of the famous Tanzfabrik Berlin dance Company. In 2000, Alessio Trevisani co-initiated the project SOX36 in Berlin Kreuzberg, the showcase at Oranienstrasse 154, a public space, a minimal space for visual arts, dance and theater. In 2002 was guest at the Tanztendenzen Festival in Greifswald with his big solo piece „Der Mann im Fahrstuhl“ nach Heiner Müller. In 2003 won the German Dance Prize for best solo at the DancePlatform. He gained important personal and artistic experience during work with composer Karlheinz Stockhausen for the Leipzig Opera and during his work stay in New York in 2005, where he worked as assistant to choreographer RoseAnne Spradlin. In 2007 he was Resident Choreographer at the Palucca School with Tanzplan in Dresden. Since 2006 he has been teaching and creating dance works for the Berlin-based Theater Thikwa, a professional theater company with a serious mix of abled and abled performers.
Alessio Trevisani has being choreographing over 15 dance pieces which were invited at various Festival in Germany and abroad. in 2018 he was presenting his work in Italy again, invited by the Teatro Tor Bella Monica in Rome and in Siena at the Teatro dei Rinnovati for the Move Off festival. Alessio Trevisani is Lecturer for Dance directing the Dance Programm of the US Accademia dell'Arte in Arezzo - ItalyAlessio Trevisani and his Company have been invited for a performative residency in May 2019 at the Tenuta dello Scompiglio Lucca as Winner of" the Death and Dying" open call and they will realize a full Theatre Produktion there in May 2021. Alessio Trevisani has been Finalist for the 13th Arte Laguna Prize together with Stephan Kurr with the Project "The Swarm".It followed the assignment of Arte Laguna and CERS Venice for a big Performance " The Body of Salt" with the entire Ensemble at the Rialto Fish Market in Venice and in Kabelvag in the Lofoten Island in Norway, as part of the project SKREI, financially supported a.o. by Creative Europe, The topics of the project were the historical trade routes of Cod Fish in Europe.Alessio's work is sensual and dynamic. He combines acting with movement and performance in his choreographies as well as in his teaching. He continually prods and seeks authenticity in the non-rational, sensual/somatic realm, allowing him to offer as much to young students learning dance as to the professional actor, and enables collaborations time and again with visual artists. Alessio came to Berlin from Rome in 1992 on a DAAD scholarship.

Yuko is a freelance Performing Artist (vocal,dance, act) based in Berlin, Germany.
Started her career at the Musical and Revue Theater “Takarazuka Revue” in Japan, for the last three decades where she’s performed countless performances and productions: musical, revue, opera, drama, concerts, experimental music, improvisation and Tanztheater.
Her encounter with the Finnish choreographer Tomi Paasonen inspired her to explore the interface between dance and music. Since 2010 she is residence artist in Haus Schwarzenberg in Berlin Mitte where she organizes small events and performances all year around as well an experimental platform and rendezvous, In 2017 she accomplished her Master’s Degree in Choreography at the HZT Akademie der Künste in Berlin, Inter-University Center for Dance Berlin/ UDK Berlin and HfS „Ernst Busch“.
In summer semester 2020 she was invited to give voice training and performance coaching at UDK Berlin (Performance and Time-based Media Class)
And besides her collaboration and creation, she’s been sharing her knowledge to support performers and enjoy singing Hawaiian Music.
