Bonetti (Barcelona, Spain, 1994) is a self-taught figurative painter based in Barcelona, whose work explores silence, vulnerability, and the emotional complexity of the human experience. Although art had always been part of her life, she fully committed to painting after facing a serious illness that profoundly changed her life.
What began as a way to find refuge during a difficult period gradually became her artistic vocation and the language through which she gives form to her emotions and reflections. After studying Art in high school and completing a one-year course in hyperrealistic graphite portraiture, Bonetti independently developed her practice in oil painting and colour. Working primarily through figurative realism enriched with symbolic elements, she explores themes such as mental health, memory, identity, and emotional resilience, inviting viewers to pause and connect with emotions that often remain unspoken.
