Venetian Palimpsest

The artworks reveal a Venice seldom captured by postcards—a city where every corner tells a story, each fragment meticulously selected from years of wandering its labyrinthine streets. This collection is born from countless hours of exploration, getting lost, and drifting in the spirit of the Situationist dérive, where discoveries await at every unexpected turn, in narrow calles and cul-de-sacs. Drawing on her architectural background, the artist has carefully documented the city’s unique architectural typologies and intricate details, compiling a personal archive of memories and curiosities, where this collection encompasses both iconic symbols and lesser-known elements.

Through a mixed-media approach, digitally processed photographs and vector works are superimposed to create a reimagined version of Venice.
