Transenlight(BMP2,ANGPT1,STAT5b)

Gene is the “metatext” of the transcendence. Translation is the process of translating mRNA(transcript from gene) into proteins. It is the moment that makes transcendence and divine information transmit into material in physical world. The series of works morphs the gene segment into a physical form through a generating algorithm, and in this way approaching the transcendent moment. All gene segments (protein structure) appear in the film generated from the world gene database.  Viewers could be brought into the micro and macro of this alternative universe, which is at once a vision for the future and a tribute to the unseen infrastructure of our current existence. The artist is creating "digital ecosystem of metatexts" via the project.

The three works in three triptyque form this time are a group of genes related to signals: BMP2, STAT5b and ANGPT1.
