Music is a form of expression that touches the heart when heard; painting, on the
other hand, envelops the soul when seen… But what if these two art forms converged
within a single universe?
“The Painting of Music” is a unique international art project in which melodies becomes
visible and musical notes transform into colors and forms. In this project, the melodies of
world-renowned songs are not only heard, but reinterpreted and translated into a visual
language.
Each artwork begins with the meticulous transcription of a song’s musical notes. These
notes are then transformed into geometric structures through a mathematical approach.
Measure, rhythm, and frequency merge with the artist’s chosen objects, forming the
foundation of original compositions. What emerges is not merely a technical
transformation, but a visual narrative that carries the very spirit of music.
The forms used throughout the project reflect the minimal yet powerful aesthetic of
Constructivist art. Colors are inspired by the energy of human chakras, allowing each
piece to emit both a visual and emotional frequency.
Each painting which is produced via constructivism style retells the story of a song. The meaning of the lyrics merges with the artist’s
inner world, evolving into thematic expressions—love, freedom, loneliness, hope… Every
emotion is reimagined through color and form.
“The Painting of Music” offers an experience that transcends the boundaries of art: it
invites you to see what you hear and feel what you see. While building a new bridge
between music and visual arts, the project transforms the viewer from a mere observer
into an integral part of the artwork.
We now invite you on this unique journey where sound turns into color.
Because melodies are not only heard… they are seen.
P.S. The project includes a total of 12 digital works.
Each artwork; On the right and left, supporting the artwork, the notes & lyrics, table, geometric shape board and storyboard will be exhibited.
