In 'Sattva Darshana 10: Carnival of the Other Shore', the ethereal realm of the 'other shore' is unveiled by 3D render. Hovering within this turbulent domain are beings of spectral grace, akin to sprites or ephemeral spirits, all congregating around a central heart-shaped meteorite of soft pink hue. This meteorite serves as both an anchor and a beacon, drawing these entities closer in an eternal dance. The swirling tumult that forms the backdrop symbolises the impermanence and fleeting nature of life, a consistent theme in the Sattva Darshana series. Yet, amidst this chaos, the radiant heart meteorite and the creatures that revolve around it stand as testaments to the enduring essence of life and the mysterious forms it assumes. Like others in the series, this piece immortalizes a singular moment of discovery, capturing the relentless spirit of energy manifesting in the most unexpected terrains. It's a digital homage to the resilience of existence, emphasizing that life, in all its myriad forms, finds a way to endure, celebrate, and thrive.
The 'Sattva Darshana' series—named after the Sanskrit term meaning 'seeing the essence of beings'—explores the myriad forms of life that I encounter in my global travels. Ever since I can remember, I've been captivated by the fleeting images of life that manifest in seemingly lifeless objects. These transient forms often vanish as quickly as they appear, eluding capture. This series serves as a means to immortalize these elusive moments. Utilizing real-world scans and AI algorithms, I transform these into intricate three-dimensional models and point clouds. These are then artistically refined to become the digital artworks of the series, each representing a unique moment that I have encountered. They appear on cliff edges, in barren woodlands, and in places least expected, revealing the ubiquity and resilience of life itself.
