MRI 02

The works from the “MRI” series explore the boundaries of the image and its relationship with the body and technology. The project is based on the artist’s personal MRI scans – images of the brain obtained during medical diagnostics. The visualization of hidden structures encourages reflection on how technology and illness redefine the perception of identity and corporeality. Data imported by the MRI device is transformed into artistic material, operating at the intersection of the internal and the external.
