Diego Esquivel, also known as [ctrl_v], is a new media visual artist based in Costa Rica. His work explores the convergence of the digital and physical worlds through non-traditional media, including VJing, digital composition, projection mapping, and immersive technologies such as augmented and virtual reality. Esquivel’s artistic practice engages with themes of a digital renaissance, examining the evolving relationship between technology and contemporary art. His work has been exhibited internationally in countries such as Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, England, the United States, Mexico, France, Japan, and Iceland.
