Emergence is part of The Shape of Presence, an ongoing series exploring identity as a fluid and continuously evolving state.
The work depicts a figure materializing from a field of iridescent particles suspended between appearance and dissolution. Rather than presenting identity as fixed or stable, the image suggests a moment of becoming - a transition in which form gradually gathers itself into presence.
Through the use of light, fragmentation, and shifting color, the work reflects on transformation, perception, and the fragile boundary between what is seen and what is still emerging.
