“Blackness of life” is a painting in which I
wanted to show the struggle of colleens who suffer from the pain of rape. In
this region so many females face this problem and after that they struggle with
their depression If we start to read the reports of rape in this state of
Jammu&Kashmir we will start crying after reading the real stories of
victims. After this, the coming life for that lass becomes more difficult than
this pain, she dies slowly every min after rape. We even cannot imagine the
pain and struggle of life for that lass and her family. In my painting, I have used
the grey and black color which shows the darkness of her life and red flowers
show the bloody pain of her. This shows the closed eyes of a girl and unkempt hair,
that show the dejection.
