Human consciousness is surprisingly diverse. How do we remember the moment we live? Why do we remember some episodes and not others? We became afraid of our memory, afraid to forget, afraid to lose the moment. Our fear drove us into the frame, we gave our lives to the camera lens, forgetting about other feelings.
By documenting our lives, we create a new system of knowledge. Now we know the world through photography. We take pictures so that we can live our emotions anew. Photography allows us to capture the moment in a new way, in a different angle, color, and light. But by documenting most of the environment, we devalue the footage. The moment doesn't stay in your memory, the camera does it for you. Emotions are blurred, damaged.
Come to your senses! The photo must be conscious. By fixing only the details, we allow the memory to remember what is happening, to absorb the lived emotions. Memory is a friend.
