Haus of Dust is a Media installation created to talk about substance abuse in Latine Queer Communities in The US, taking from the story of Gabriel G Torres. We embark in a journey to hear stories from souls in the Abysm, a bar between the world of the living and the dead, stories of their overdose before they transcend into heaven. Through these fantastical stories, we learn about the journey of south american healing plants turned into chemicals, and also have an instrospection into the life of someone dealing with Trauma, towards a process of healing. It mixes documentary, fantasy, fiction and community inquiry. To create a four walls intallations of magic, aww, ghosts, and heart wrecking, healing love.
