Life is a struggle, sometimes silent and relatively calm, other times more agitated and physical. Sometimes we struggle against invisible obstacles in our path, while other times we see the challenges staring right into our eyes. Struggles inevitably involve varying degrees of risk-taking and living on the edge. Existential struggles are akin to navigating a narrow precarious ledge in pursuit of some form of illusive liberation, often without a clear destination. Some people live their entire lives in this state. Most fear such situations, while some find them inherently exploratory, profoundly exhilarating and seek them out.
