Artist Bryan Hamilton Chadwick endeavored to make a painting of the sky, every day, for an entire year, as part of his exploration of the phenomenology of creative inspiration and, specifically, if it has been gifted in humankind as a survival mechanism.
"365 Skies" is comprised of 365 different artworks that uniquely combine multimedia painting with photography, realized on brushed silver aluminum in editions of five (5) each at variable sizes up to 60" X 70"; a short film (submitted here) with narration and original music by the artist, in which an entire year of skies pass by in 42 minutes; and a 100-page hardcover, lay-flat, limited edition collectors' fine art coffee table book featuring 100 of the Skies; and finally an MP3 of the original score and music.
