The biodiversity that occupies the south of Latin America is displaced to inhabitable territories due to the environmental impact produced by human ambition and ignorance. Capitalist technology as we know it today is incompatible with the environment, while one advances, the other regresses. From macro to micro approaches, this audiovisual piece poses a technopoetic dialogue, an attempt at symbiosis between technological tools and nature.
For decades we have been aware of procedures that cause a great damaging impact on beings and territories. We are aware that there are destructive practices that generate accumulation and scarcity.
Technology develops at very subtle levels in a multiplicity of areas, we believe that the present handles high changes, all accompanied by our humanity and its power. That is why we ask ourselves, why do we not abandon certain violent practices ?
Is it possible to generate presents of organic and fluid coexistence in the territories through technological artistic expressions?
This work is conceived as an ecosystem where the following coexist: geo/biophonic sounds from ecological reserves of the Argentine Pampas, visual textures from the record of native birds from the Paraguayan humid Chaco region and mixed technological media (field recording, digital photography, experimental video post-production and digital sound design).
