Concept behind the
Art works
Experimentation keeps new
ideas rising to the surface.
This aptly justifies my
nature because I believe in experimenting and have kept on doing it since the
beginning. Be it oil, acrylic, or any other medium I do not restrict myself. I
love to explore.
Tapestry is an ancient
form of textile art which has been practiced all over the world for
thousands of years. Ancient Egyptians and the Incas used woven tapestries
as shrouds in which to bury their dead. The Greeks and Romans used them
as wall-coverings for civic buildings and temples like the Parthenon. Tapestry is a form of textile art, traditionally woven by hand on a loom. Tapestry is weft-faced weaving, in which all the warp threads are hidden in the completed work, unlike cloth weaving where both the warp and the weft threads may be visible.
So I will try to transfer my drawing in to tapestry.
